CIC * dressage will run on Friday afternoon from approx 12 noon in the main arena.

PRE-NOVICE classes will run on both days - please state clearly which day you wish to compete under "special requests" on entry form.

Rider and Horse Registrations. Under the FEI Eventing Rules (Article 511.1 and 511.2) all horses and riders wishing to compete at any International event, CCI or CIC, whether in Britain or Abroad, MUST be registered with the FEI, via British Eventing.


Vaccinations as per rule 11. All horses competing under FEI rules will be required to receive booster vaccinations given at 6 month intervals. However, to avoid interruption of the horses competition schedule, it is permissible to extend the 6 month booster date by a maximum of 21 days. This provides a 3 week window after the 6 month date to vaccinate the horse. A shorter vaccination interval is obviously permitted.

 

ENTRIES
Entry fees include VAT. VAT Reg No 708 5122 51. Please make cheques payable to HUTTON IN THE FOREST ONE DAY EVENTSend entries to the ENTRIES SECRETARY. Separate cheques are required for each horse (with horse's name on back). Please enclose separate 22cm x 11cm (DL size)

SELF SEAL SAE for each horse. FAXED entries will NOT be accepted.

INTERNET entries will be accepted on www.bdwp.co.uk.

WITHDRAWALS by 18:00 Tue June 10 by telephoning 01738 880245 (Entries Secretary).

REFUND POLICY - 100% refund will be given for withdrawals before ballot date. No refunds after ballot date unless replaced from a wait list for the same class. All withdrawals will be refunded in full less a £10 fee.

STARTING TIMES are available between 18:00 and 20:00 Thu September 6 on 01738 880245.Starting Times also available on website www.bdwp.co.uk.  Starting Fees include a programme.

STABLING
Stabling is available locally at £25 for one night & £38 for two nights. Limited stabling available on a first come first served basis. All rates are inclusive of shavings.  Fees include VAT. Send stabling fees and form with an SAE to the Organiser, Lucinda Weymouth. Refunds for stabling will not be given after the ballot date.

PRIZES
CIC * 1st £250.00, 2nd £175.00, 3rd £150.00, 4th £125 (over 23 starters). Sponsor trophy to winner.

Intro & PN prizes in kind, generously sponsored by Equissage & Snuggledown.
N & Intermediate lower limit and Sponsors’ mementos.

Rosettes to 8th place in all sections.

Cumbrian Challenge Trophy for highest placed horse/rider combination competing in Intro, Pre-Novice and Novice classes, accumulating points at all the events located in Cumbria. The trophy in 2008 will be an accumulation of points from all three classes and Hutton in the Forest 2 will be the final event and will be awarding the prizes on Sunday 14th September.

BHS Trophy to the highest placed Cumbrian rider at the three Cumbrian events which is awarded in the autumn by the BHS.

COURSE DESCRIPTION
Hutton in the Forest is a traditional undulating parkland course with fences designed to educate and encourage all levels of horse and rider with alternatives at the more difficult fences and with superb viewing for spectators.

ACCOMMODATION & CATERING
Hot and cold food available throughout the event. Accommodation list is available from the organiser, Lucinda Weymouth - please send SAE.

Grid reference NY461362. From the M6 motorway, leave at Junction 41. Take the B5305 signed to Wigton. The event is approximately 3 miles along this road on the right hand side and it will be sign posted.
